Cumpleaños campero / Birthday in the field

En Abril celebramos el cumpleaños de mis sobrinos, fue un día estupendo! No pude sacar muchas fotos, pero hice una composición con las que tenia, añadiendo unos marcos polaroid, una guirnalda, y un sello super chulo de Paper Smooches. También cosí el vuelo de la abeja, con hilo rojo.
Espero que os guste. 

In April, we celebrate the birthday's my nephews, it was a wonderful day! I didn't take a lot of photos, but I made a layer with some it, I added some polaroid frames, a garland and a cute stamp of Paper Smooches. I also sewed the flight of the bee.

Una semana en la vida / Week in the life

Este año me voy a unir al proyecto de Ali Edwards de "semana en la vida", sera del 25 al 31 de julio. Es la primera vez que lo hago, no se si sera demasiado trabajo... pero espero divertirme!

Se trata de documentar a fondo una semana al año, durante esa semana se hacen muchas fotos, escribes un diario, recoges recuerdos... 

y se pone todo en un mini album. 

Ali crea unas plantillas para la ocasión, pero cada uno puedo hacerlo como quiera. Yo voy a crearme mis propias 

plantillas en español, ¡a ver como me queda! ya os enseñare los resultados...

This year I'm joining to Ali's project, "week in the life", it'll be from July 25th through July 31st.This is the first once that I'm doing it, so I don't know if it's too hard, but I hope to have fun!

Week in the Life is a project about document a week of the year, during this 

week you take photos, journaling, etc... and finally you put all together in a mini album.

Ali creates templates for the project, but you can to do how you want! I'll 

try to create my own spanish templates.

52Q2011-6. Mensaje publicitario / Advertisement

Aquí esta mi interpretación de la sexta pregunta del reto 52Q2011. 
La pregunta era: ¿hay algún mensaje publicitario que te guste?.
Al principio no se me ocurría ninguno, entre otras cosas porque no veo mucho la tele, pero de pronto, un día me vino uno a la mente! "Be water my friend" Es de hace tiempo, pero el mensaje me encanta, además, creo que tiene mucho que ver con mi OLW. 
La tarjeta esta hecha con una técnica que aprendí en el curso de Ali Edwards de On the Road, creo que ha quedado genial, y por ahora, es mi preferida! 
Primero pegue las letras del mensaje y pinte todo con gesso, y después pinte todo con una mezcla de tonos azules y pasta de moldear blanca, pero no lo mezcle del todo, por eso se notan tanto los distintos tonos, el efecto fue de casualidad, pero me encanta!!!

Here is my interpretation of the sixth question 52Q2011 challenge. 
The question was: Do you like any advertisement?.
At first I didn't think anyone, I don't see much TV, but suddenly it came to my mind! "Be water my friend" It's a long time, but I love it and I think it's related to my OLW.
The tag is made with a technique I learned in the course of Ali Edwards On the Road, I think it looks great and for now is my favorite!
First I glue the letters of the message and paint everything with gesso, and then I paint it all with a mix of blue acrylic and white molding paste, but I do not mix at all, so that obvious different tones, the effect was chance, but I love it!

Como no podía ser de otra forma... elegí a Ali Edwards! Me encanta todo lo que hace! Para esta tarjeta me inspire en esta portada de uno de los mini de Ali.

Aquí esta mi interpretación de la tercera pregunta del reto 52Q2011. 
La pregunta era: ¿Cúal es tu color be happy?.
En mi caso es el rojo, me encanta este color! Para esta tarjeta cosí varios 
retales de papeles en tonos rojos.

In my case is red, I love this color!

Tarjetas variadas / Cards

He hecho estas tarjetas cuadradas que quedan muy bien, sirve para hacer menús, tarjetas de agradecimiento, día de la madre, lo que quieras! Solo tienes que variar el texto de la parte delantera de la tarjeta.

Parte delantera y trasera / Front and back of the card.

He diseñado la plantilla para cortar con la tarjeta con la silhouette o craft robo, el tamaño esta adaptado para sacar una tarjeta de un papel A4, y queda una tarjeta de 15x15cm. 
En breve subiré la plantilla al blog, para que la pueda descargar quien la necesite.

Como hacer Marcos Polaroid / How to do polaroid frames

Este fin de semana, hice una imitación de marcos polaroid para una composición que estoy haciendo, creo que quedaron genial! Explico un paso a paso, para quien quiera hacerlo. 

This weekend, I did an imitation of polaroid frames for a composition, I think it was great! I explain step by step.

1º. Marque con la silhouette los marcos en el cartón. Los hice en un cartón bastante gordo, aunque creo que también quedaran bien en cartulina, pero yo quería que se notase el grosor.
1º. I check with the silhouette frames in the carton. I made a big cardboard, but I think that also it works well on paper.

2º. Los termine de cortar con un cúter. Si no tienes silhouette, dibuja el marco en la cartulina y corta con un cúter.
2º. I cut them with a cutter. If you haven't got silhouette, you draw the frame on the cardboard and cut with a cutter.

3º. Pinte los marcos acrílico blanco. En mi caso hice esto, porque el cartón no era blanco, si lo haces en una cartulina blanca, no hace falta.
3º. I paint frames with white acrylic. In my case I did this because the cardboard wasn't white, if you do it on a white card it isn't need.

4º. Añadí embosing transparente. Hice una con embosing blanco, y no quedo tan bien, me gusta mucho mas con embosing transparente.
4º. I added clear embosing. I did one with white embosing, but I don't like it, I like more with clear embosing.

5º. Por último, pegue la foto por detras.

52Q2011-2. Tus dibujos animados favoritos / Your favorite cartoon

Esta es mi interpretación de la segunda pregunta del reto 52Q2011. 

La pregunta era: ¿Cuales son tus dibujos animados favoritos?

Yo elegí "David El Gnomo", aunque recuerdo muchos dibujos animados, estos son los primeros que me vinieron a la mente y aún froto la nariz haciendo ese ruidito que hacían ellos!!! como cuando se frontan dos globos!! JAJAJAJA!!! 
No me gusta como quedo la tarjeta, no fue una buena semana...

The question was: What are your favorite cartoon?
I chose "David The Gnome", I remember many other cartoons, but these are the first that came to mind and even I rub my nose doing this little sound that made them, like when you rub two balloons! JAJAJAJA!

I do not like this card...  It wasn't a good week ...

Craft Robo / Silhouette

Detalles de algunos trabajos hechos con la Craft Robo. Details of some works made with the Craft Robo.

Este año me trajeron un regalazo!! La Craft Robo!! Esta máquina es una maravilla!! Puedes cortar papel, pegatinas, vinilo, e incluso tela! Realiza recortes de cualquier diseño creado a partir del ordenador, no necesitas cartuchos adicionales, como con otras máquinas. Viene con un programa de diseño, en el que puedes crear el diseño que quieras, además hay muchas páginas en internet donde te puedes bajar o comprar diseños. Yo ya he diseñado algunas cosillas y es muy fácil de usar. 

También puedes adaptar ficheros de imagen para el corte. Usando este programa con tu impresora se crearán marcas en la imagen que luego serán detectadas por la Craft-Robo pudiendo cortar el contorno de la imagen. Esto aun no lo he probado.  

La máquina es cara, pero merece la pena, puedes hacer muchas cosas con ella, como carteles, flores, bordes, tarjetas, letras, mariposas, etc. Para mi es mejor que las máquinas que dependen de un cartucho, que al final te salen más caras, ya que tienes que comprar los cartuchos. Con la craft robo es como si tuviera una colección infinita de troqueles!

Yo la compre en creactividades, una tienda que recomiendo totalmente, la máquina me llego en 48 horas, pero no funcionaba, así que llame a la tienda y me la cambiaron sin problemas, solo tuve que enviar la máquina defectuosa y me enviaron otra nueva a las 48 horas. Un departamento post venta perfecto, sin retrasos ni excusas, y sin gastos de envío, un detalle que me gusto mucho.

En EEUU se comercializa con el nombre de silhouette, en europa se llama Craft Robo, no se porque han cambiado el nombre, pero la máquina es exactamente la misma, de hecho yo uso el software que hay en la página de silhouette america, porque la uso desde el mac, y con la craft robo el software que viene por defecto solo sirve para window.

This year give me a best gift! The Silhouette! This machine is wonderful!
You can cut paper, stickers, vinyl, and even fabric! It make cuttings of any design created from the computer, you don't need additional cartridges, as with other machines. It comes with a design program, which you can create the design and there are many sites online where you can download or buy designs. I've already designed a few things and it's very easy.

The machine is expensive but worth it, you can do many things with it, such as posters, flowers, borders, cards, letters, butterflies, etc. For me, it's better than the machines with cartridge, which in the end it become more expensive because you have to buy the cartridges. With Silhouette is like having an infinite collection of crops!

I bought at creatividades and I recommend this shop, I get the machine in 48 hours, but it didn't work, so I call the shop and they changed it without any problems, I just had to send the defective machine and they sent me a new one in 48 hours. A perfect after-sales service, without delay or excuses, and free shipping, I liked this detail.

In the U.S. it called Silhouette but in Europe it called Craft Robo, but the machine is exactly the same, in fact I use the silhouette's software, because I use mac, and the craft robo's software is only for window.

Mini álbum Dia del padre / Mini book Dad's Day

Con esta plantilla de Ali Edwards, mi hermana Cris y yo hemos hecho un mini álbum para el día del padre, es muy fácil de hacer, aquí va un mini tutorial.

[Uno] Compras y descargas las plantillas de Ali, desde aquí.   

[Dos] Añades las fotos y el texto que quieras, nosotras lo hemos hecho con el Adobe Elements, y las hemos impreso en tamaño 11x11cm, para que el tamaño total del mini fuese de 15x15cm.

[Tres] Eliges papeles que combinen con el color del mini, nosotras elegimos unos que fuesen un poco masculinos, y los cortamos a 13x13cm, para que hagan de fondo de las fotos.

[Cuatro] Montas la base del mini, nosotras nos inspiramos en este modelo, para ello cortamos tiras de 15cm de ancho de una cartulina, y las fuimos uniendo y plegando a 15x15cm, hasta conseguir los pliegues que necesitábamos. 

[Cinco] Montas el mini, pegando los papeles de fondo y las fotos seleccionadas.

[Seis] Haces la portada del mini, nosotras hicimos lo mismo que para las fotos interiores, pero entre el álbum y la foto guardamos una tarjeta envejecida, para que cada hermano ponga un mensajito, queda escondida detrás de la portada del álbum, me encanta este detalle!!! Y añadimos un par de flores de flores de papel y un botón, para decorar un poco la portada.

[Siete] Cierras el álbum, nosotras usamos un cordón, y para sujertarlo creamos un cierre como el de los sobres de scrap, con dos círculos de papel y lo pegamos en la trasera del álbum, así se puede abrir y cerrar con más facilidad.

Al álbum es muy fácil de hacer y queda genial!

With this Ali Edwards's template, my sister Cris and I have made a mini album for Dad's Day, it's very easy, here's a mini tutorial.

[One] Buy and download Ali's templates, here.

[Two] Add photos and text, we've done with Adobe Elements, and we've printed in 11x11cm, so that the size of mini was 15x15cm.

[Three] Choose paper that matches the color of the mini, we chose ones that were a little masculine, and cut to 13x13cm, to make the background of the photos.

[Seven] Close the album, we use a cord, and we maked a closure of the envelopes of scrap, with two circles of paper and we glued it into the back, so you can open and close more easily.

It's very easy to make and looks great!
